Chewy’s Grain Free Goody Box Review

For the month of August, Chewy sent us their Grain Free Goody Box for Dogs.  I was so excited to try these since Ginger is on a grain free diet.   It was a pretty nice size box too, so I knew there had to be a lot of goodies in there.  The outside decor of the box was also very cute!

As you can see in the pic, someone was waiting very patiently to try some of these!

In the box were 6 items that I have listed below:

-Merrick’s Power Bites Beef Recipe treats.  These treats are grain and gluten-free, they are antioxidant-rich with sweet potatoes, apples and blueberries.  Their size are small enough to use for training.

– Nulo Duck recipe training treats, these too are grain-free treats with cherries, blueberries and honey in every bite.  They contain DHA and omega-3 fatty acids from salmon oil and flaxseeds to promote overall wellbeing.   They are made in the USA with no corn, wheat, gluten, soy, artificial preservatives, colors or flavorings.

-Solid Gold Superfoods turkey recipe treats.  These are turkey treats with sweet potatoes and cinnamon.  They include five superfoods in every treat including pumpkin, parsley, lentils, sunflower oil and kelp, as well as, fiber-rich chickpeas and flaxseeds.  They have a soft and chewy texture so it’s easy on sensitive teeth and gums of senior pups.

-K9 Natural Meat Mates Beef.  This food topper is made with 100% New Zealand grass-fed, free-range beef it has hoki oil and rosemary extract in it for an added antioxidant boost.  Just sprinkle some of it on your dog’s food for an extra boost of protein and nutrition

-Natural Balances’ Whitefish and sweet potato wet food.  This is part of Natural Balances L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets.  The food only contains animal protein from a single source, limited carbohydrates, no grains and great for pets with sensitive stomachs.

-The box also contained a Hartz Bug Eyed Frog Toy.  This super cute squeaky toy is made with specially formulated latex that provides excellent durability and the ideal texture and resistance dogs seek in chewing.

Ginger tried everything in the box except the Natural Balances wet food since because she is on a cooked food diet.  I have gone ahead and donated them.

Ginger and Bubba loved each and every one of the treats.  Bubba did not try the topper as he had to head back home ending his vacay with us.    Ginger, however, loved it!

I loved that these items come from trusted, reliable companies that care enough for pets to make top quality treats.  I also love that these are all made in the USA.

I will certainly be buying a few more of these grain-free boxes.  These would make a wonderful gift for Christmas, the arrival of a new pet, anything that you can think of.  The outside of the box is decorated so that you don’t even have to wrap it, but most importantly, the price CANNOT be beat!

Please note, however, that I do not think that this is a monthly box, based on the description you will receive the same items for the Grain Free box.  They do however, sell different variations of the box and they sell boxes for cats too!
