It’s National Dog Biscuit Day!

National Dog Biscuit Day

Did you know that today, February 23rd is National Dog Biscuit Day!

What better way to celebrate then to either bake your canine scrumptious biscuits or purchase healthy ones!  As a Chewy Influencer Ginger has tried many biscuits, therefore, making her a dog biscuit tasting professional. Below are her top two flavored biscuits. If you scroll down you will also find links to tasty biscuits that you can bake for your furry friend!

#1 is Canidae’s Life Stages Bakery Snacks with Turkey, Quinoa & Butternut Squash.

These treats are oven-baked for a crunchy texture that is easy to snap and helps clean teeth. They are made with just 7 nutritious main ingredients and are made in the USA by the family owned company known as Canidae. The ingredients are as follows: Ingredients: Brown Rice, Pea Flour, Turkey, Quinoa, Butternut Squash, Chicken Fat (Preserved with Mixed Tocopherols and Citric Acid), Natural Flavor. The dogs really loved these treats and I especially like them because there have minimal ingredients and are made in the USA.

#2 is Blue Buffalo Halloween BOO Bars.

These biscuit bars are oven-baked with added vitamins & minerals. The bars do not contain corn, wheat, or soy, and no by-product meals.  The ingredients are as follows:   Oatmeal, Barley, Oat Flour, Pumpkin, Flaxseed (source of Omega 3 and 6 Fatty Acids), Cane Molasses, Carrots, Salt, Canola Oil (source of Omega 6 Fatty Acids), Cinnamon, Calcium Carbonate, L-Ascorbyl-2-Polyphosphate (source of Vitamin C), preserved with Mixed Tocopherols and Oil of Rosemary, Vitamin E Supplement. Ginger and her pals annihilated these biscuits and although they were Halloween themed, they didn’t make it to Halloween.
